UK funding

IUK Smart grant closing on April 24, 2024 – 25M£ for game-changing and commercially viable R&D innovations

Experimental medicine stage one closing on April 17, 2024– £10 million to investigate the causes, progression and treatment of human disease.

Realising the health co-benefits of the transition to net zero: invited stage two closing on April 17, 2024– £34.375 million to lead a challenge-led transdisciplinary research hub as part of a network which will generate research that goes beyond understanding the human health implications of current net zero actions to developing new health focused interventions which are intended to support the UK’s transition to net zero by 2050.

Standard research grant: 2024 round 2: responsive mode closing on April 24, 2024– £2 million to support excellent investigator-led research across the breadth of Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council (BBSRC) scientific remit.

Swiss funding

Swiss Accelerator– 2.5M CHF to fund disruptive companies in Switzerland.

Innosuisse Startup Innovation Projects (SIP)– Proposals submitted before June 30, 2024 will be evaluated in the Autumn session. Innosuisse is offering project funding for start-ups before market entry.
